My first pregnancy was very short, only lasting 13 weeks. It was extremely devastating to both my husband and I, and our families. With all of the complications that came after the loss of our first baby we had decided it would be quite a while before we tried to have another baby. Well less than 2 months later, we were surprised to find out that I was once again pregnant. We didn't have time to mourn the loss of our first baby, when a new baby came. It was a very difficult pregnancy. Not only was I battling depression from losing our first baby, but I was also dealing with complications during Sophia's pregnancy. Thank goodness she came and stayed. She is now 18 months old and completely gorgeous!
This pregnancy was a huge surprise to us as well. It has been a short ride so far (I'm only 9 weeks) but I am looking forward to this long journey! I can't wait to see Sophia with her little baby brother or sister. I know she will be great! She is the best little thing I could have ever asked for and to be blessed with another little one is absolutely amazing. I am already in love with him/her. I can't wait to meet them :)
